Finding Joy in the Journey – Plants, People & Progress

If you’d told me a year ago that I’d be writing plant care guides, helping clients troubleshoot spider mites, and sharing stories with thousands of followers—I’d have laughed. Loudly.

But here we are.

And what I’ve realized most this year is this: the joy is in the journey. Not just the big milestones, but the tiny victories:

  • The first time a follower said “this helped me.”

  • The first time I saw someone recreate a styling tip.

  • The first time I gave a workshop and watched someone get it.

That’s where the real progress lives. Not in going viral. Not in perfect homes or giant plants. But in the back-and-forth. The dialogue. The “I didn’t know that!” moments.

So here’s to the progress we don’t always see—but feel. The kind that makes you pause, smile, and say: “This matters.”
